Rafael Mercedes Reyes

WORCESTER-Rafael Mercedes Reyes, 41, died Thursday, December 2 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home.

Rafael leaves his parents Jose and Altagracia (Reyes) Mercedes of Worcester, eleven brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews aunts and uncles. He also leaves his best friend, Anthony Fiorino.

He was born October 24, 1969 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and came to the U.S. in 1988. He worked for Honey Farms and Building 19 before before falling ill.

Rafael's funeral will be on Monday, December 6 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11:00 AM at The Cathedral of St. Paul, 15 Chatham St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, December 5 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
