Rafael Luis Rivera

WORCESTER-Rafael Luis Rivera, Jr. 36, died Thursday, March 17, 2022.

Rafael was born in Worcester and was known to all for his quick wit and great sense of humor.

He will be dearly missed by his parents, Rafael L. Rivera, Sr and Luz I. Rivera, his fiancé, Brittany L. Zendzian, brother, Joel Rivera and three sisters, Noelia, Nilsa and Yelitza. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins and his beloved cats, Hovie, Diablo and Penguin.

Rafael loved to cook and worked at various restaurants throughout the years. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Spending time with family and friends, exploring new places on "adventure days" and taking vacations on the water were some of his favorite things to do. He enjoyed writing music and singing, playing Xbox and watching wrestling. Rafael also loved movies and watching TV and has seen almost everything out there to see.

The funeral will be held Thursday, March 24th from Callahan Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.

Visiting Hours are Wednesday, March 23rd from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
