SHREWSBURY-Raktimkumar "Tim" Nath, of Shrewsbury, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2016 at St Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton, MA. Born in Calcutta, India to the late Satyendra Mohan (Pabna, Bengal India) and the late Leela Nath (Gayhati, Assam India), he lived in California and Massachusetts.

Raktim was a passionate man who lived life to the fullest. Trained as an electrical engineer, he worked across numerous areas in the technology sector in Supply Chain and Finance roles with Digital Equipment Corporation, Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu, LSI Logic, and Raytheon. He was an avid traveler with an international heart who enjoyed music, supporting his favorite Boston sports teams, watching cooking shows, following current affairs as a "political news junkie", and spending time with his family and friends.

Indian by birth and American by choice, Raktim was extremely loving and proud of his two sons, Rajeev (wife Marisa) of Hoboken, NJ and Sanjeev "Mickey" (wife Ester) of Madrid, Spain. He is also survived by his wife and best friend, Neeta (Saha) Nath; his two sisters, Rita (husband Bhaskar) Goswami of Los Angeles, and Rashmita (husband Raj) Salvi of Vancouver; his brother Rajat (wife Shyama) Nath of Mumbai, India. He was the amazing dadu/grandpa of Kieran, Oisin and Alisha and loved by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 12:00PM until 2:30 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 90 Holden St, Worcester to remember him and celebrate his life. Lunch will be served. On Monday, May 2, 2016 at 9:00AM, friends are also welcome to attend the last rites and cremation which will be performed at the Worcester Rural Cemetery at 180 Grove Street, Worcester. Memorial donations may be made in Raktim's name to the American Cancer Society via https://donate.cancer.org/
