Ralph W. Comrie 90, of 24 Wallingford Rd. died Sunday, Feb. 8, in the Auburn Life Care Center.
He leaves his wife Helen R. (Campbell) Comrie and several nephews and nieces. He raised 13 foster children. Six brothers, Wendell, Frank, Edward, Claude, Paul and John, and a sister, Grace Comrie, predeceased him. He was born in Ledyard, CT, son of Frank and Geneva (Crouch) Comrie.
Mr. Comrie was a Machinist for Roger Tool and Die Company for many years, before retiring, he was also the Caretaker of the Assembly of God Campgrounds in Charlton for 38 years.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Charlton. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and was a avid reader. Mr. Comrie was a sterling man and gentle, kind and true.
A Funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, Worcester. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, Feb.11, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. (lindquistlundin.com)
