Raquel Santiago Torres

WORCESTER: Raquel Santiago Torres, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Norma Molina Santiago and Betsy Pagan Santiago; 10 grandchildren, Pedro, Karen, Norma, Erica, Alfredo, Betmarie, Dahyanna, Mariel and Darleen; and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jose Lugo.

Raquel was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Carlos Santiago & Carmen Lidia Torres. Among her many pastimes, she enjoyed taking care of her plants, watching Spanish soap operas, and the simple things such as enjoying a cup of good coffee and a delicious meal. She also loved to dance and, most of all, being with her family.

Visiting Hours will be held from 4 until 7PM on Thursday, September 24, in the Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Friday, September 25, in the funeral home, with entombment to follow in St. John's Mausoleum, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester.
