WORCESTER: Reina M. Sanchez, 33, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in St. Vincent Hospital.
She is survived by her son, Januel P. Rivera; her father, William Sanchez, her mother, Zoraida Serrano – Andujar and stepfather, Luis Natal; her siblings, Pedro Maldonado, Yuriko Maldonado, Zorivette Sanchez, and William Sanchez; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Jesiah Sanchez.
Reina was born in Worcester, where she spent her entire life, spreading joy and love to those around her. A truly caring and giving person, she had a remarkable ability to make everyone she met feel valued and cherished. As a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, cousin, and friend, Reina embraced her roles with an open heart. Her sons were her pride and joy, and nothing brought her more happiness than being a loving mom to them.
Reina was known for her hard work and independence, most recently employed at the 99 Restaurants. A woman of deep faith, she loved God profoundly. In addition to her caring heart, Reina had a passion for fashion and style, expressing her vibrant personality through her unique sense of self.
Her legacy of love and kindness will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Calling Hours will be held from 4 until 7PM on Wednesday, November 19, in the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, November 20, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
