WORCESTER-Rene "Ray" H. Tremblay, 84, of Tyson Rd. died Sunday, June 20th in the Holden Nursing Home. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Gilberte (Beaudette) Tremblay; a daughter, Michelle wife of James Jardine of Worcester; 3 grandchildren, Renee, Jessica and Elizabeth Jardine all of Worcester; 2 sisters and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was born in Leominster son of Henry and Elodia (Roberge) Tremblay and has lived in Worcester for many years. He was a Navy veteran of WWII serving with the Seabees. Mr. Tremblay worked as a machinist for Superior Tool then went on to G.F. Wright Steel & Wire where he worked for 10 years retiring in 1990. Ray was a member of St. Christopher's Church and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
The funeral will be Wednesday, June 23rd from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St Christopher's Church, 950 West Boylston St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 22nd from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice Network, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
