West Boylston- Rhonda M. Cormier, 61, passed away Sunday, October 8 in UMASS Medical Center.

She leaves her mother, Rita (Lemaire) Cormier of West Boylston; a brother, Ronald M. Cormier and his wife, Karen of Worcester; a sister, Roxanne Cormier-Plante and her husband, Michael of Shrewsbury; two nieces, Sarah and Lauren and a nephew, Cameron; a great-nephew, Ian and three great-nieces, Catherine, Evelyn and Elysse. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Roland E. Cormier. Rhonda graduated from West Boylston High School, attended Bridgewater State College, before graduating from Eckerd College.

Rhonda was the manager of Ciampi Hall, the residency of the Jesuit Community for the College of the Holy Cross, prior to that she was a Certified Meeting Planner for Sun Life of Canada in Wellesley for many years and traveled extensively through-out the United States and Europe. In her earlier years she enjoyed swimming and was a life guard and swim instructor during her time spent in college. Rhonda's real joy was spending time on the beaches of Cape Cod, where she lived for several years. She also loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends and was a great follower of all things in art and entertainment.

A Funeral will be held Friday, October 13 from FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston with a Mass at 10:00AM in St. Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross Street, Boylston. Burial will follow in Saint Cecelia Cemetery, Leominster. Visiting Hours are Thursday, October 12 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
