WORCESTER-Richard J. "Dick" Beauregard, 66, of Worcester passed away Thursday, February 25 at home
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Debra A. (Fournier) Beauregard; four siblings, Patricia Fontaine of Worcester, June Kaspryzak and her husband, Charles of Oxford, Robert Beauregard and his wife, Sharyn of West Boylston, and John Beauregard and his wife, Maureen of Grafton; his sister-in-law, Nancy Butkus and her husband, Tony of Worcester, his sister-in-law, Roswitha Fournier of Houston, TX and many nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Bette Halpin and Barbara Sloan and a nephew, Glenn Halpin predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Robert and June (Watkins) Beauregard and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and attended Worcester State College. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Richard had a long career in the mental health field at Worcester State Hospital. He received the Professional Staff Organization Award for his years of dedicated service. Richard was a member of Saint John's Church. He was a proud friend of Bill W. for 36 years. He was an avid recreational juggler and a member of the International Jugglers Assoc. Most of all, Richard was a devoted husband who loved traveling, camping and taking trips to the casino with his beloved wife. He had a tremendous sense of humor that will be missed by all.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 29 at 10AM in Saint John's Church, 40 Temple Street. Please go directly to church. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 300 5th Ave, Waltham, 02451
