Richard A. Bradley, 70, of Worcester passed away Sun., April 20. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Maureen A. (Troy) Bradley; seven children, David A. Bradley and his longtime companion Jocelyn A. Segrin of Holden, Timothy J. and his wife Tiffany Bradley of Sutton; Michele J. and her husband Timothy J. Shenette of Sutton; Kerry A. and her husband Steven LaMonda; Richard A. Bradley; Michael F. Bradley all of Worcester and Louise A. Williamson of No. Carolina; eight grandchildren, Robert Shenette, Thomas Shenette, Jordan Sands, Bailey Bradley, Christian LaMonda, Kaitlyn Bradley, Heather Williamson and Lindsay Williamson; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert J.P. and his wife Diane Bradley of Shrewsbury and nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of Wilfred L. and Mary M. (Mitchell) Bradley. He attended St. John's High School and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Richard was an electrical foreman for the former New England Power Service Company retiring in 1999. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local %23486 out of Worcester, the Main South American Legion Post %23341 and was active in the Tatnuck American Legion Post %23288. He summered at Hampton Beach his whole life and enjoyed salt water fishing. Richard loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a life-long Red Sox fan.
The funeral will be held Thurs. April24, from Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
