Richard N. Medina

WORCESTER-Richard N. Medina, 55, passed away after a long illness Monday, September 7 surrounded by his family.

He leaves his wife of 27 years, Alcita (Burgos) Medina; three daughters, Christi Martinez of Stratford, CT, Marjorie Medina and Mariana Medina both of Worcester; three brothers, Antonio and Luis Medina of New York and Albert Medina of Worcester; two sisters, Leticia Medina and Irene Medina both of New York; two grandchildren, Eliezer Jurado and Lucas Martinez, nieces and nephews.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY the son of Santos and Damiana (Nieves) Medina. Mr Medina served in the U.S. Army for 18 years retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class.

The funeral will be Wednesday, September 9 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Peters Church, 931 Main St. Interment with military honors will be held in Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 8 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
