Rita P. Haggerty

WORCESTER-Rita P. (Flynn) Haggerty, 87, died Sunday May 9, 2010. Her husband John E. Haggerty predeceased her in 1991. She leaves a daughter Annmarie Haggerty of Worcester; a son, James P. Haggerty of San Francisco, CA; three grandchildren, Joann Bryant and her fianc%C3%A9 Kevin Muldoon of Manchester, NH, Beth Beaumond and her husband Matthew of Plainsboro, NJ and Amanda Kalinowski of Worcester. She also leaves four great grandchildren and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four sisters, Margaret Flynn, Mary Flynn, Ann Hippert and Josephine Nason.
Rita was born in Worcester, daughter of James and Mary (Deignan) Flynn. She graduated from St. Peter's High School and was a member of the Cathedral of St. Paul. The family would like to thank the staff at Hermitage Nursing Home for the wonderful care which their mother received.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 13 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10 AM in the Cathedral of St. Paul, 15 Chatham Street.
