Rita B. Maciejka

WORCESTER-Rita B. (Buzulis) Maciejka, 95, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, February 21. Daughter of the late Michael and Mary Ann (O'Loughlin) Buzulis. Her husband of 60 years, Frank J Maciejka, died in 2003.

Rita had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of St. Peter's Church in Worcester and a member of the Third Order of Mary.

Rita attended South High School. She was employed by Telechron, a division of General Electric, in Worcester. She enjoyed spending holidays with her family, especially Halloween where she was known to dress up.
She leaves behind a daughter, Susan Cooney, wife of John Cooney of Littleton. She will be missed by her 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica and Jacquelyn Cooney. Steven, Thomas and Tiffany Maciejka and Penny Maciejka Hoene of Woburn; She will also be missed by her niece Patricia Klemas of Mason City, Iowa. She leaves 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, David Maciejka of Merritt Island, FL and a granddaughter Kelly Maciejka.

The Funeral will be held Monday, February 27 from LINDQUIST LUNDIN Funeral Home, 36 Butler Street with a Mass at 11AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30AM in the funeral home.
