Robert R. Badger,87, of Brewster formerly of Auburn died Thurs. February 11 in the Cape Cod Hospital.
His wife, Velma H. (Garfield) Badger died in 1995. He leaves two daughters, Gail L. Othote and Martha F. O'Day and her husband Michael all of Seminole, FL; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was born in Auburn, son of . Chester and Nora (Clark) Josephson and graduated from Auburn High School and Worcester Boys Trade School. He was a Lieutenant in the Army Air Corp during WWII serving in the European and African Theatres.
Robert was a draftsman developmental engineer for Heald Machine Company and later the Cincinnati Milacron Company for 33 years, retiring several years ago. He was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Masonic Lodge both of Auburn. He was a saltwater and trout fisherman. Bob was pilot and owned his own plane and he also enjoyed flying model planes.
The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 18, at 10 AM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Visiting Hours are Wednesday, February 17, from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home, 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton, 01507.
