Robert J. Benoit

Leeds, MA~ Robert J. Benoit, 61, passed away January 8, 2023, at Cooley-Dickinson Hospital after a brief illness.

Robert grew up in Worcester, and attended South High School. Soon after high school, he joined the United States Army. He later resided at Soldier On, Inc. in Leeds, MA where he made numerous friends. Robert was on the Committee at Soldier On, Inc. and often volunteered his time delivering meals to his fellow veterans. He always enjoyed spending his time with his family.

Besides leaving his mother, Marie Jeanne Benoit-McFaul, he leaves a daughter, Racheal Benoit and her significant other Daryl, a son, Joseph Benoit, three sisters; Debora Gonyea, Diane Benoit-Soave & Ann Benoit and four grandchildren; Jayllan, Jayden, Davante and Deja.  Robert will be missed dearly by everyone who loves him.

Robert was predeceased by his father, Ernest Benoit, in March of 1997 and his brother, James Benoit, in February of 2021.

All services will be held privately.
