WORCESTER-Robert M. Chase, 76, passed away Thursday, January 6 at St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness.
He leaves his loving wife of 58 years, Phyllis (Carlson) Chase; four children, Marilyn Reynolds and her husband, George of Auburn, Bonnie Clark and her husband Steven of Charlton, Thomas Chase and his wife Debbie of Dudley and Barry Chase and his wife, Betsy of Sterling; two sisters, Pearl McAdam and Jayne Cote both of Leicester; a brother, William Chase of Valrico, FL; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A daughter, Linda, a sister, Hazel Zdanovich and his twin brother, Richard all predeceased him.
Robert was born and raised in Worcester son of Ernest L. and Alice L. (Abramson) Chase. He was a machinist at Parker Metal Corp. for 35 years retiring at 58. Since then he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a mechanical wizard who loved to fix anything and everything. His expertise and humor will be missed. He was a collector of old records and enjoyed country and western music.
The funeral service will be Sunday, January 9 at 2:00 pm in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
