With broken hearts and grief beyond words the family of Robert “Bob” Fahlin share the news of his passing on October 2, 2024.
People who knew him would always say “Bob is just the nicest guy”.
Bob was a Medical Technologist and manager of the Hematology and Coagulation Lab at Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA and mentor to many medical interns and residents at the hospital. A graduate of Worcester State University and Anna Marie College he was also an educator at David Prouty High School in Spencer, MA.
Bob was a proud Air Force veteran. He was an avid runner and master wood carver and shared many of his pieces with family and friends. Summer memories were made at the family beach house in Maine.
He leaves his wife, Carole (Wrobleski) Fahlin who was his partner, his best friend – his everything. He was a very proud “girl dad” to their daughter Kelly and her husband, Andrew Finn, a cherished and so loved “Papa” to Jordan and Alex Finn and was always involved and interested in their academic and athletic activities. He was a beloved brother-in-law to Richard and Cynthia Belanger and favorite uncle to Tim and Stephanie Stack and their children Ryan and Meghan.
It is often said that people will forget what you said or forget what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel – that was Bob. He was and will always be so loved – he was just the best!
