Robert L. Ford

WORCESTER-Robert L. Ford, Jr., 54, passed away Friday, June 18 after a short illness.

His wife, Julia A. (Parsons) Ford predeceased him. He leaves his beloved 12 year old son, Patrick R.T. Ford of Worcester; his fianc%C3%A9, Cheryl Kelly of Natick; four siblings, William Ford of Millbury, Paula Cedar of Worcester, Brian Ford of Concord, NH and Shawn Ford of Worcester, nieces and nephews. His sister, Sheila Espino predeceased him.

Robert was born in Worcester the son of Robert L., Sr. and Marjorie (Brown) Ford and graduated from Worcester State College. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Robert worked as a mail handler for the US Post Office for nearly 20 years before becoming ill. Robert enjoyed flea marketing and was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, June 23 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be private.
