Robert Harrington, 91, died July 9 2002 at Sun Terrace Nursing Home of Sun City Center Fl. after a brief illness.
His wife Irene (Lorimer) Harrington died in 2000 . He leaves three sons, Jeffrey Harrington of Homasassa, FL, David Harrington of Portsmouth, NH and Donald Harrington of Edgartown MA , a sister Alice Whitman of Sun City Center, FL., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Son Stephen Harrington of Worcester died in 1999 and a brother Daniel Harrington predeceased him.
He was born in Westboro son of Daniel F. Harrington and Florence May (Chick) Harrington.
He was a graduate of Westboro High School and Worcester Trade School.
In 1975 he retired as a machinist from Heald Machinery Co.
He was previously a resident of Westboro, Worcester, and Spencer, and he has been a resident of Ruskin FL since 1981.
A memorial and graveside service will be held Friday (August 30) at 11am at Rural Cemetery 180 Grove St. Worcester Ma. Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com ) 9 Hammond St. Worcester is directing local arrangements.
