Robert and June Harthan

RUTLAND-A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 AM at Oakhill Cemetery, Sterling MA with a reception following at the West Boylston American Legion Post %23204.

Both died in Okeechobee FL June 19, 2015 and March 24, 2014 respectively. They owned and operated R. Harthan Excavating and served the U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary for many years. Robert retired from the U.S. Air National Guard 212th division and was a 32nd degree Free Mason. June retired as a food service manager at Wyman Gordon, Worcester.

They are survived by four children Robert Jr., Randall (Carol) of Massachusetts and David, Nancy of Okeechobee, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Robert leaves three siblings Lois (Bill) Cowan, William Harthan and Warren Harthan. June leaves a sister Patricia Spencer (DeSanto).
