Robert "Bean" William Lundin, born on June 21, 1947, in Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on May 4, 2024, in his home in Trinity, Florida, with his wife, Margaret Lundin, at his side. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lundin nee Gallagher; his brother, Walter L. Lundin (Norma); his son, Jed A. Lundin (Michelle), and their children, Ava and Joshua Lundin. Additionally, he is survived by his daughter, Taryn Lundin-Patrick, and her daughter, Adyson Patrick, as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lundin and Regina Berg, and his sister, Lorna Colton.


As a fourth-generation Funeral Director, Robert attended The New England Institute of Anatomy before working alongside his brother, Walter, to continue the family's funeral home legacy. Together Walter & Bean owned Lindquist Funeral Home in Worcester, MA. His dedication to this profession was unwavering. However, Robert's life was not solely defined by his work. In his younger years, he served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1970 during the Vietnam War, where he distinguished himself as an expert rifleman and marksman earning a Bronze Star for his heroic services.


Beyond his military service and hard work, Robert found joy in spending time with friends. Whether it was hunting, fishing, boating, or golfing, he cherished these moments. As the details of his memorial services are yet to be announced, there remains the possibility of a future placement at Bushnell Cemetery in Florida. Robert William Lundin leaves behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and service to his community. May he rest in peace.
