WEST BOYLSTON
Robert "Bob" P. Plucinski, 80, of West Boylston died Mon., Dec. 10 at home.
He leaves his beloved wife of 57 years, Nancy E. (Emmett) Plucinski and their three children; Susan E. Galvin and her husband Walt of Springfield, VA, Ellen M. DeSanti and her husband Raymond of West Boylston, and Stephen F. Plucinski of Holden, and six grandchildren; Christopher, Sharon, Marya, Jaime, Nathan and Sarah; and one great-grand-daughter Jessica. He also leaves his brother Walter Plucinski of Worcester and several nieces and nephews, including his fishing buddy Paul Plucinski. He was a devoted brother to Sophie Keith, Irene Pion, and George Plucinski, who predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, son of Benjamin and Agnes (Warchal) Plucinski. He graduated from Commerce High and Clark University. He served in the Army during the Police Action at the end of the Korean War.
Bob was a foreman at Norton Company for many years, retiring in 1985. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, walking, and puttering around his vegetable garden and yard. He also took pleasure in cooking and enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends.
