Robert R. Zeidler, 66, of 45 Smith Rd. died Saturday, April 2, at UMass Hospital, after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 38 years, Janet K. ( Kelton) Zeidler; a sister, Karen and her husband Richard Towne of Danedin, FL; his mother in law, Louise B. Kelton of Charlton; his sister in law, Lee Ann Kelton of Alpharetta, GA; two nephews, Alan Kelton of Cumming, GA and Brian Kelton of Sherwood, AK and a niece Lora and her husband Sri Nagendran of Marietta, GA and two great nieces and a great nephew. He was born in Patterson, N.J. son of Eugene and Marie (Weggeland) Zeidler and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, where he received a Bachelors Degree of Science and A Masters Degree.

Robert co-owned Oracle Lens Manufacturing Corp. in Warwick Rhode Island, previously he worked at American Optical Company.

Calling Hours are Wednesday, April 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Worcester. The funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.
