Robin B. Simonelli

WORCESTER
Robin B. (DeMarco) Simonelli, 54, of Worcester passed away Saturday, September 26 at St. Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 30 years, Michael G. Simonelli; a daughter, Diane Allain of Auburn; her father, Louis DeMarco, Sr. of Worcester; two brothers, David DeMarco of Barre and Louis DeMarco, Jr. of Worcester; two sisters, Susan Angelini of Worcester and Deborah Day of Mandeville, LA and nieces and nephews. A son, Michael B. Simonelli and a sister Patricia Fayard predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Barbara (Wilson) DeMarco and graduated with a Bachelors and later a Masters in Non-Profit Management, both from Worcester State College.
Robin was an Assessment Specialist and taught Math at Quinsigamond Community College. She served as Secretary of Massachusetts Women in Public Higher Education. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, sewing, gardening, reading, playing scrabble, and being outdoors. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a bright shining star who everyone loved.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, September, 30 from 5 to 8 PM at Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. The Funeral will be held Thursday, October 1, with a Mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery.
