Ronald Peter D'Eramo, 62, of Port Orange, Florida formerly of Worcester, MA passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 4, 2020.
Ronnie was born in Worcester, MA the son of Francesco "Frank" & Stella (Lelis) D'Eramo. He graduated from North High School Worcester (1978) and attended Bentley & Assumption colleges. Ron retired from the United States Postal Service in 2018 after 30 plus years. Ron was a mail carrier in Holden, MA many years before retiring as the supervisor of transportation at the Shrewsbury, MA USPS Distribution Center.
Ron was the husband of 28 years to Deborah (O'Leary) Drainville D'Eramo who passed away on October 2, 2017. Ron is also survived by his son, Matthew Drainville and his daughter, Melissa Morse & her husband, Kristin Morse & grandchildren Zoey & Cole. Ron is also survived by his brothers, Frank A. D'Eramo & his wife, Marcia of Webster and Dennis N. D'Eramo & his wife, Kathleen of Worcester; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ron had a love of all sport teams in New England; he also loved the ocean and beautiful weather in Florida after his retirement where he lived with his son, Matthew. He lived life to fullest while living in Florida, enjoying daily bike rides along the ocean and having fun at local amusement parks with Matthew. Ron had a strong love for his family, especially his granddaughter, Zoey. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and larger than life laugh as well as his willingness to always help those around him. Ron was a former member of Saint Margaret Mary's parish in Worcester. Ron will be lovingly missed by his family and friends & by all who knew him.
Due to the current health crisis and resulting government restrictions, funeral services and burial will be held privately.
