WORCESTER
Rosanne M. (LaPlante) Stepanauskas, 93, of Worcester passed away on Wednesday, August 11 in the St. Francis Home surrounded by her loving family.
Her husband Peter Stepanauskas passed away in 1979. Rosanne known to her family as "Gramma Lovey" is survived by her two daughters, Marion G. and her husband Michael J. O'Connell, Jr. and Nancy L. and her husband Thomas H. Pingeton all of Worcester; a brother, Roland LaPlante of Auburn; two sisters, Helen Kelley of Worcester and Pauline Chagnon of Millbury; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Leo J. LaPlante and Raymond LaPlante; three sisters, Marie Villnave, Celia Rhodes and Agnes Mahan and a great grandson, Ryan K. Kovac predeceased her. She was born in Oxford, daughter of the late, Dorila and Zelia (Bouley) LaPLante.
Rosanne was a longtime member of Christ the King Church. She was a professional roller-skater in her younger years. Rosanne loved spending time in the company of her family and enjoyed playing bingo.
The Funeral will be held Saturday, Aug 14, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:30 AM at Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery. A Visiting Hour will be held Saturday, Aug. 14. from 9 to 10 AM in the funeral home.
