SUTTON - Roy W. Lindstrom, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 28, 2021.
Roy was born on November 23, 1927, son of Albin M.E. Lindstrom and Lillian E. Eck and was raised in Worcester where he graduated from South High School in 1948. Following graduation, Roy enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country. After being honorable discharged from the service, Roy attended the WPI School of Industrial Management and went on to work for the former Johnson Wire and Steel Company, where he retired from as a Plant Manager.
Roy was an avid outdoorsman with a love of bird hunting, fly fishing and hiking with his dogs. He loved Manchaug Pond where he lived year-round for 61 years.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Catherine (Constantine) Lindstrom; a brother Richard C. Lindstrom; nephew, Bruce Lindstrom, wife Marsha of Vernon, Ct; niece, Sandra Lindstrom of Lyndeborough, NH and niece, Beth Lindstrom, husband Ray of Groton, Ma.
Besides his parents, Roy was predeceased by his son, William Albin Lindstrom in 1979.
Funeral services for Roy are private and are in the care of the Lindquist-Lundin Life Celebration Home, 36 Butler St., Worcester.
