Rozaliya Verteym

Rozaliya (Beckman) Verteym, 99, passed away Friday, December 19 in Autumn Village Nursing Center.

Her husband, Vladimir Verteym died in 2003. She leaves a daughter, Larisa and her husband, Gregory Fater of Worcester; a son, Savvely and his wife, Maya Verteym of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren, Yana, Inga, Susanna and Michael and five great-grandchildren. A son, Anatoly Verteym predeceased her. She was born in Ukraine, daughter of Issay and Klara Beckman and came to the United States at the age of 74.

Rozaliya was a wonderful mother and grandmother and lived a long beautiful life. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She loved to sing and paint.

A Private Funeral for family and close friends will be held Sunday, December 21 at 1:00 PM in CALLAHAN~FAY AND CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow in B'nai B'rith Cemetery.
