Ruben Rosado

SPRINGFIELD-Ruben Rosado, 68, died Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Life Care Center of Wilbraham, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, son of the late Jose and Ana (Roman) Rosado. Ruben worked as a kiln operator at Norton Company for over 20 years. After his retirement, Ruben worked as a handyman. He was a dedicated member of the Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal M.I in Springfield.

Ruben is survived by five children; Elaine Sotomayor, Ruben Rosado, Jr., Adam Rosado, Barbara Cristina Ortiz and Jabes Rosado, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves eight siblings; Eroilda Soto, Anibal Rosado, Benjamin Rosado, Adelaida Keane, Carmen R. Bailey, Jose I. Rosado, Maria L. Rosado and Marisol Rosado Ledoux and many nephews and nieces. Ruben was predeceased by two brothers, Ramon Rosado and Alfonso Rosado and two sisters, Norma I Rosado and Nivia Ivette Rosado.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 6th at Callahan Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester with visiting hours from 9:00 until 11:00 am immediately followed by a service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
