Ruth A. Colt

HOLDEN-Ruth A. (Frykholm) Colt, 82, died Saturday, January 5 in Holden. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Edward C. Colt in 2004. She was the devoted mother of, Robert E., and his wife Annemarie Colt of Winchester and Peter C., and his wife Caroline L. Colt of South Deerfield; a sister, Doris I. Oulighan of Cumberland, RI; five grandchildren, Laura A., Susan R. and Diana P. Colt all of Winchester and Justin C. and Jacqueline E. Colt of South Deerfield; nephews and nieces.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Albert and Ida (Birtz) Frykholm. Ruth formerly worked at the Paul Revere Insurance Company. She was a member of Chaffin Congregational Church in Holden. Ruth was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9 at 11:30 AM in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faith's Cemetery.
