Ruth I. Nelson

WEST BOYLSTON

Ruth I. (Hoffman) Nelson, 88, of West Boylston died Sunday, March 14 in St. Vincent Hospital.
Her first husband, Maurice Marold and her second husband, Bror H. Nelson predeceased her. She leaves two children, Thomas F. Marold and Joy A. Tambolleo and her husband Joseph P. all of West Boylston; four grandchildren, Joanne, Jennie, Christine and Daniel; five great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Sandra Hoffman of Worcester and nieces and nephews. A son, Clifford P. Marold and a brother, Bruce Hoffman predeceased her. She was born in Marlborough, daughter of Adelbert and Christie (Johnson) Hoffman and graduated from Shrewsbury High School.
Ruth owned and operated a nursery school in North Grafton for many years, before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
Ruth was a good friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

A Funeral will be held Wednesday, March 17, at 10 AM in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in All Faith Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
