Samuel A. Roby, 42, died Tues., May 1 at his sister's home in W. Boylston after a brief illness.
He was born in Boone, Iowa, son of the late Charles Roby and Teruko (Kawaguchi) Roby. He leaves, his sister, Nancy Trunzer and her husband Jurgen of W. Boylston; three brothers, Michael Roby and his wife Melanie of Dayville, CT, John Adair and his wife Louise of Millis, Fred Adair and his wife Fran of Holliston; his step-mother, Mary Roby of Framingham; his nieces, Rachel Bombard, Pamela Rovinelli, Amanda Norman, Abigail & Genna Adair and his nephews, Toredo Rovinelli, Anthony Rovinelli, Jason Hawkins & Chris Norman, also grand nieces & nephews. His sister, Carmen Bombard passed away in March of 2002.
He graduated from the carpenter's trade program at Keefe Technical High School in 1982. Sam was a custom cabinet designer and installer for the last 20 years. He worked for Sabre Cabinets, Roby Construction and most recently Home Depot, before becoming ill.
A Funeral Service will be held Fri., May 4, at 10 AM in Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston. Visiting Hours are Thur. May 3, from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the, American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
