Worcester- Sandra M. Graciolett-Gomez, 72, passed away on August 5, 2016 at UMass Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Bronx, New York on March 5, 1944, daughter of the late Lumen and Julia (Centeno) Graciolett. For many years Sandra worked at the Amaco Container Company in Quality Control.
She was the wife of the late Julio Lozada who died in 2004 and Elias Gomez who died in 2007.
Mrs. Graciolett-Gomez was a woman of deep faith who enjoyed daily prayer, listening to latin music and playing bingo. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all whom had the pleasure to have known her.
She leaves behind her loving children, Jacinto Vega of Vermont; Paula Graciolett- Lozada; Efrain Lozada and Leida Ruiz all of Worcester; two brothers, Lumen and Lester Graciolett of California; two sisters, Sonya Nielsen of Delaware and Sylvia Graciolett of New York; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 12th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61Myrtle St., Worcester. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 13th at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
