WORCESTER- Sheila J. (Doyle) Girard Prisco, 71 of Margate, FL, formerly of Brookline St., Worcester, died Friday, March 27 in Notre Dame Long Term Care Center after an illness. Her husband Louis P. "Bud" Prisco predeceased her in 2001. She leaves five children, Richard D. "David" Girard, Jr. and his wife Eileen of Charlton, Daniel B. Girard and his wife Diana of Weston, FL, Kathleen W. Pignatiello and her husband Jim of Palm Coast, FL, Paul "Skip" Girard and his wife Penny J. Rock of Auburn and Janice E. Davoren and her husband Sean of Needham; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Roberta "Bobby Ann" Marley of Lancaster, CA; a brother, retired Worcester Police Sgt., James A. Doyle of Worcester and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Jack, Kenneth and Robert Doyle.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Cornelius F. and Winifred (O'Brien) Doyle and graduated from St. Peter's High School. Sheila worked many years in the furniture and design industry and later shared her love for art by opening Accents N Art Gallery in Lynnfield, MA. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and she was devoted to her family and God.
The funeral will be held on Monday, March 30 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
