Westborough - Shelia M. (Lescord) Norton, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was 84.

Shelia was born in West Boylston on May 14, 1933 a daughter of the late Peter and Beatrice (Army) Lescord. She attended local grammar schools, then Sacred Heart Academy in Worcester. She studied art and later met and married the late Walter S. Norton, Jr., who passed away in 2011. They moved to Westborough where they raised five children. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, collecting antiques, painting and finding bargains. Through the years Mrs. Norton worked at Data General, Digital, Dunkin Donuts and Vellumoid.

She leaves behind many that will miss her dearly including her children, Stephen Norton and his wife, Cindy of Grafton, Peter Norton and his wife, Linda of Northborough, Wendy Shaughnessy and her husband, Bob of Hudson and Thomas Norton and his wife Kari of Westborough; her daughter-in-law, Giselle Norton of Virginia; eight grandchildren, Dan Norton and his wife, Tracy, Tammy Norton, Kaitlin and Jessica Shaughnessy, Christina Norton, Kelly Marsala and her husband, Joe, Rachel and Caleb Norton; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Sandra Wiggins of Shrewsbury, Anna Rita Bronzo of Auburn and Jeannine Smith of Millbury.

She was predeceased by her son, William Norton and her siblings, Peter Lescord Jr., Emma Chitwood, Dolores Horne, Audrey Westburg and Sharline Suffill.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Norton's Life Celebration on Sunday, February 11th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 12th at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. to share a memory or leave an online condolence, please visit
