Sheryl A. Tom

BARRE-Sheryl A. (Marchand) Tom, 43, of Barre, died Sunday, October 18 at Bay State Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She leaves her husband of 18 years, Luis Tom; a son, Raymond Tom and two daughters, Angela and Chantel Tom, all of Barre. She also leaves her father, John A. Miller of South Barre; her siblings, Jenette M. Scott of Worcester, Thomas G. Shamgochian of Oakham and Melissa L. Shamgochian of Worcester; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her mother, Beverly J. (Dunakin) Miller in 2007 and a brother, Philip C. Marchand in 1986.
Sheryl graduated from North High School, Quinsigamond Community College and attended Worcester State College. She was a respiratory therapist at Kindred Hospital in Leicester. She enjoyed her pets, reading, nature and helping others.
The funeral will be Friday, October 23 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in the Cathedral of St. Paul, 15 Chatham St., Worcester. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting hours will be Thursday, October 22 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
