Shirley B. Richard

TEMPLETON, MA/SUMMERFIELD, FL-Shirley B. (Dionne) Richard, 75, went home to the Lord on Monday, October 11 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. Her husband of 35 years, Raymond J. Richard died on February 14. She leaves five children, Carol Taylor of Templeton, Susan McCarraher and Raymond McCarraher, both of Summerfield, FL, Allan McCarraher and Robert McCarraher, both of Spencer and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Brenda Daniels of Oxford and Barbara Salvatore of Worcester; a brother Eugene Dionne of Oxford and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her first husband Raymond G. McCarraher in 1968, her second husband, William R. James in 1977 and a daughter Donna Blinkhorn in 2009. Shirley was born in Worcester, daughter of Eugene and Edith (Blanchard) Dionne and she enjoyed working out in the yard and playing Bingo.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 15 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a service at 11 AM in Temple Baptist Church, 350 Stafford St., Leicester, MA.
