Sidney V. Krow

WORCESTER- Sidney Victor Krow, Jr., aged 16 passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at UMass Medical Center.

Sidney was born in Worcester on August 23, 2001 and was an intelligent student at the Gerald Creamer Center. He loved playing basketball at Crystal Park, riding bikes and visiting his friends, writing and composing music and helping family at Addie Lee's Soul Food Restaurant. He had aspirations to join the Marines and to study culinary arts.

Sidney leaves behind his parents Sidney V. Krow Sr., and Kenya N. (Stevenson) Krow; two sisters, Najah Krow of Worcester and Calian Krow of Accra, Ghana three brothers, Solomon Krow of Atlanta, Kemuel Krow of Worcester and Kreston Krow of Accra, Ghana; his maternal grandparents, Debbie Stevenson and Henry J. Prince Jr., of Worcester; his aunts and uncles: Zartone R. Stevenson-Mays, Kinshasa O. Stevenson-Mays, Kareem Tatum, Rashedah Tatum all of Worcester, Kiana Holley of Webster and Kadeem Alston Prince of Charlotte, Solomon Krow Jr. and Pastor Aaron Harry Krow of New Jersey, Gloria Krow aka Missy Gee and Nana Yaw Osei-Siriboe both of The United Kingdom, Rosslyn Mary Sakyi-Sam of Delaware and Emmanuel Kelvin Krow aka Chief of Worcester and a host of grand aunts, grand uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors.

His paternal grandparents; the late Reverend Solomon Krow and Mrs. Patience Krow of Ghana, his Aunt Emma Krow of New York and Uncle KB Siriboe predeceased Sidney.

Family and friends are invited to Sidney's Life Celebration on Friday, June 15th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Worcester. His funeral service will be held on Saturday June 16th from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m in the funeral home. After the funeral service we will proceed to Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St. Worcester for the burial. The re-pass will follow the burial service at Faith Evangelical Mission Worldwide on 49 Lafayette St. Worcester from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
