Sigrid E. Flanagan

WEST BOYLSTON-Sigrid Elizabeth (Osterberg) Flanagan, 88, passed away Saturday, December 27.

Her husband, John T. Flanagan, Sr. passed away in 1999. She leaves her son, John T. Flanagan, Jr. of West Boylston; two grandsons, John A. and Steven of West Boylston; three beloved great granddaughters of Worcester and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in West Boylston on July 8, 1920 the daughter of Hugo G. and Adeline (Quist) Osterberg and graduated from the former Major Edwards High School and Becker Junior College. Mrs. Flanagan worked as a clerk at Sheppard Envelope Company before retiring. She was a member of The First Congregational Church of West Boylston.

A visiting hour will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 3 at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
