Sol as he was known by family and friends was the owner and operator of S. Surabian Plumbing and Heating for over 50 years before retiring soon after his ALS diagnosis.
He lived a full beautiful life. He was a devoted father and grandfather, he loved his family, a man of faith, funny, handsome, loved summers at Old Orchard Beach, loved to cook, loved “Armenian Power”, scratch tickets, sports and anything he could place a bet on, preferably dogs and horses. He would never say no to a night at the race track or the casino or helping family and friends with their plumbing needs. He fought a long and courageous battle of ALS, like a warrior, with his loving family by his side. We called it Solomon’s Hope.
Please join the family to remember Sol on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester. Calling hours are from 10am – 11am with his funeral following immediately after at 11am. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a Memorial Donation in Solomon’s name to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour or the Compassionate Care ALS, of Falmouth MA.
