AUBURN – Stanley J. "Stan" Jarzinski, Jr., 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital.
Stan was born in Worcester, a son of the late Stanley J. and Anna (Westlund) Jarzinski. He was raised in Auburn. He graduated from Florida State University with a degree in psychology. Stan proudly served his country in the Army and Air Force Reserves.
Stan began his working career with the David Clark Company, where he worked on the Gemini space suit program. While there, he met his neighbor, Bonnie White. Stan and Bonnie were married October 22, 1966 in Houston, TX and they have enjoyed 53 years of marriage together. Settling in Auburn following their return from Texas, Stan began working in the circuit board industry. He worked for the ECC Corporation in Jefferson. He later worked for a manufacturer in the Lowell area. Stan enjoyed tinkering and repairing miniature radios and other electronics. He enjoyed watching football, sitting in his favorite recliner with his dog in his lap, caring for and working in his yard and maintaining his cars. But for Stan, spending time with his family was the most rewarding for him, especially around the holidays.
Stan will be forever loved and missed by his beloved wife, Bonnie C. (White); his two children, Kimberly A. Jarzinski of Charlton and Todd D. Jarzinski and his husband, Jeff Curbo of New York City, NY; his sister, Janet M. Quinty and her partner, Dave Rogers of Littleton; his three grandchildren, Ryan Anger and his fiancée, Stephanie Ponyta of Worcester, Joshua Anger of Worcester and Sydney Anger of Framingham.
At this time, services for Stanley will be held privately. A memorial funeral Mass will be held at a later date in Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help offset funeral expenses may be made through the funeral home.
