WORCESTER- Stephen Leo Bounville, 66, passed away peacefully at his home on October 23, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Worcester on June 2, 1956, son of Joseph and Barbara (Faucher) Bounville. He attended local schools and following graduation from Burncoat High School he began his career in engineering. For many years, Stephen worked as a Drafting Engineer with Napco and Sigma Companies, until he eventually went to work in Quality Control for Reliance Engineering, where he was for the last 16 years.

Stephen was a die-hard Eagles fan and enjoyed following his favorite NASCAR driver, Jimmy Johnson #48. He enjoyed time spent with his family in Maine, New Hampshire, and finally got to take his dream trip to California recently, where he always wanted to go with his father. A man of many talents, Stephen took great pride in renovating his home by himself and working on his Ford cars.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Joy Bounville of Auburn and their children, Nicholas Bounville and his wife, Jessica, of Leominster, Laura Bounville and her fiancé, Dan Shelmerdine, of Auburn; his grandsons, Tyler Tryba and Isaac Bounville; his brothers, Ronald Bounville and his wife, Sharon, of Millbury and Alan Bounville of Oxford; his sisters, Barbara Piucci and her husband, Vincent, of Oakham and Lisa Bounville of Worcester; his nieces and nephews, Joseph Bounville, Christina Green, Alan Bounville, Emily Piucci, Mark Rice and Ian Rice; several great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Family and friends will celebrate Stephen’s life with visiting hours on Friday, October 28th from 11am until 1pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A graveside service will follow at St. John’s Cemetery
