Theodore W." Ted" Breault 85, of 4 Hathaway St. died Tuesday, July 6, in the Meadows of Leicester, surrounded by his family.
His wife of 64 years, Estelle M. "Babe" (Kershaw) Breault died in 2003. He leaves, a daughter, Ruth A. Blair; a son, William T. Breault and his companion Wendy P. Lucier all of Worcester; a brother, Joseph Breault of Templeton; three grandchildren, Debra M. Lockwood and Julie I. King, both of Worcester and Jessica L. Leterneau of Webster; six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was born in Auburn, son of Theodore C. and Ella (Kenneway) Breault and graduated from Auburn High School and was a longtime Main South resident.
Mr. Breault worked as a Trainer for the Worcester Regional Transit Authority, retiring at the age of 80. Prior to that he owned and operated the Leicester Airport and held a private pilot's license. He also owned and operated a TV repair shop in Worcester. He was a member of St. Peter's Church, the Main South Alliance for Public Safety and was a longtime community activist. He also owned two racing horses and was avid fisherman.
A Private funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to, Jeremiah's Inn, 1059 Main St. Worcester, 01610 or to the UMASS Memorial Foundation, Cancer Walk, P.O. Box 2795, Worcester, 01613. FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 9 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
