Theresa Ann Brodeur

WORCESTER-Theresa Ann (Grady) Brodeur, 88, passed away, Monday, September 28 in the Holden Nursing Center with her daughter by her side.

She leaves her daughter, Elizabeth A. Elbag of Worcester; a brother, James Grady and his wife, Joan of Merrimac, NH; a son in law, Richard Erickson of Worcester and nieces and nephews, among them, Mark Grady of Marlborough. Her daughter, Kathleen M. Erickson; two siblings, Robert Grady and Mary Jane Grady and a sister in law, Rita Grady predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William and Ellen “Helen” (Clifford) Grady and graduated from St. Peter’s High School, Ward Business School and Quinsigamond College.

She was a mental health assistant for St. Vincent Hospital, prior to that she worked in data entry for many years for Norton Company. She was a member of the Worcester Senior Center and a former member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church and volunteered at the Maternity Floor at UMASS Memorial, for the Horace Mann School and Auburn Nursing Association.

Visiting Hours are Tuesday, October 6 from 5 to 7pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, October 7 at 10am in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
