Theresa (Bouthillette) Guerin

BARRE- Theresa (Bouthillette) Guerin, 91, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 with her loving family by her side.

Theresa was born on February 7, 1930, daughter to Cora (Robidoux) and Joseph Bouthillette.

For 29 years Theresa worked on components made for the space shuttle at Sprague Electric (later known as Allegro) .Her name can be found on a "dish" left by the astronauts on the Moon. She had a great love for her country and the American flag. Theresa spent a lot of her free time knitting, always ensuring her entire family had afghans to keep them warm in the cold months. During the years, she also sent many knitted baby hats to the same local hospitals where her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were born. She enjoyed passing on traditions and spending time with family, especially Pie Day and giving pajamas at Christmas. Above all, her family was her greatest love.

Theresa will be missed by many including her children, Linda Miller of Barre, Gayle Sharigian and husband, Charles, of West Boylston, Susan Figuriedo and husband, Jose, of Barre and George and wife, Terry, of Whitinsville; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Theresa's life on Friday, October 8th at the Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston with a visiting hour from 10:00am until 11:00am with a service immediately following. She will be laid to rest in St. Roch's Cemetery, Federal Hill Road, Oxford.
