Theresa M. Morse

Theresa M. (Loughlin) Morse, of Auburn, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA. 

Born March 6, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Edmund J. Loughlin and Ella T. (Greene) Loughlin. After graduation from Worcester's St. Peter's High School, she worked briefly in the office at Crompton and Knowles of Worcester prior to her 56-year marriage to Charles F. Morse.  An Auburn resident, she was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Church.  

She will be greatly missed.

Theresa leaves three sons, Edmund C. Morse and his wife, Sheila A. Doyle-Morse of Newburyport, Thomas P. Morse and his wife, Barbara H. Pope of Hatfield and Matthew C. Morse and his wife, Marie D. (Aselton) Morse of Worcester. Theresa was also predeceased by sisters Mary Casey, Helen and Katherine Loughlin, Alice O'Neill and Margaret Killoran; and brothers Edmund, James, and William Loughlin.  Theresa is also survived by her ten grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, all of whom she adored, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and cousins. 

Calling hours will be from 4 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, September 26 at the Callahan, Fay and Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, MA 01608. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, September 27th at St. Joseph's Church, 194 Oxford Street North, Auburn, MA 01501. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester, MA. Theresa's family would like to thank the staff of Port Healthcare Center and Anna Jacques Hospital for their compassionate care.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa's name may be made to: "Matthew 25", 52 Queen Street, Worcester, MA 01610.
