Theresa A. Owens

Theresa A. Owens, 99, of Worcester died Thurs., April 5 in Notre Dame Long Term Care Center. She leaves a brother, Francis M. "Jessie" Owens a retired Lieutenant of the Worcester Fire Dept. of Worcester and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Margaret M. Spongberg of Worcester and Catherine A. Williams of Indiana predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael J. and Anne (Loughlin) Owens and graduated from Ascension High School and Fairchilds Business School.

Theresa worked at Kemper Insurance Co. before retiring. She was a member of St. Paul's Cathedral.

A Liturgy of the Word will be held Sat. April 7, at 10 AM in St. Paul's Cathedral, 15 Chatham St. Burial will be private. A Visiting Period will be held from 9:15 to 9:45 AM in the Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Abby House, 52 High St., Worcester, 01609. CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. is handling arrangements.
