Thomas H. Kachadoorian

Thomas H. Kachadoorian, 89, of Worcester died Wednesday, June 30 in Knollwood Nursing Center.
His wife of 65 years, Mildred H. (Withers) Kachadoorian died in 2005. He leaves three sons, Thomas Kachadoorian and his wife Donna of Worcester, Robert G. Kachdoorian and his wife Cynthia of Worcester and John C. Kachadoorian and his wife Marsha of Leicester; nine grandchildren, Thomas, Robert, Michael, Todd, Adam, Jennifer, Christine, Kelly and Kendra; several great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mary Kachadoorian of Leicester and nieces and nephews. A brother, Sarkis "Jack" Kachadoorian and two sisters, Beverly Kashmanian and Shirley Surasian predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Aarhon and Esther (Malazian) DerKachadoorian.
Thomas was the co-owner of the former Tech Market with his brother for 45 years, retiring in 1987.
Thomas was a member of the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, its board of trustees, the parish council and the church's men's club. He was a member of the Quinsigamond Lodge AF & AM and a 32 Degree Mason with the Scottish Rite Bodies. He was a founding member of the Jesse Burkett Little League and a former member of AYF.
The funeral will be on Saturday, July 3 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St with a service at 11:00 AM in Holy Trinity Apostolic Armenian Church, 635 Grove St. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday, July 2 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. A Dahngark service will take place during the visiting hours.
