Thomas A. Kelleher

April 17, 1915 — November 3, 2008

Thomas A. Kelleher, 93, a lifelong resident of Worcester, died peacefully Monday November 3rd. His wife Mary, also passed away on November 3rd, twenty two years earlier.

He leaves two daughters, Margaret E. Kelleher of Rowayton, Connecticut and Susan K. Sinnott and her husband James of North Attleboro, MA. Three sons, Andrew R. and his wife Kathryn, David R. and his wife Tammy, both of Worcester and Michael S. and his wife Martha, of Shrewsbury, MA. Two sons Kevin R. and Peter S. Kelleher predeceased him. He also leaves nine grandchildren.
He graduated from North High School, The College of the Holy Cross and Harvard Business School. He was the President and Treasurer of the American Supply Company, a family business, started in Worcester in 1899.
He was a member of the Worcester Economic Club, a lifetime member of Worcester Country Club, where he recorded two holes in one and Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, VT. He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman; with a passion for skiing, golf and boating. He especially enjoyed extended trips to Vermont with his family and friends.
The funeral will be held Thurs., Nov. 6 from Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Wed., Nov.5 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
