Thomas E. Lindsey 54, of 9 Leicester St. and formerly of 35 Hampton St. Auburn died Monday (Sept2) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Lake Ave. Campus, Worcester after an illness.
He leaves his wife Sharon A. (Altif) Lindsey, his parents Louis and Betty (Hill) Lindsey of Spencer, a son Brian Lindsey of North Oxford, a step-son, John Arcure of Northboro, a brother, Paul Lindsey of Spencer, two sisters, Velma Lindsey of Spencer and Sandra Mathieu of Exter, NH, and several nephews and nieces. Two sisters Jamie Lindsey of Spencer and Linda Beaurgard of Auburn predeceased him.
He was born in Upton and served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
He was a Truck Driver for Worcester Sand and Gravel for several years.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday (Sept13) at 7 p.m. at Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. Worcester (www.faybrothers.com). Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham 01701
